The Coral traders have been crunching the numbers and sieving through the form book to find Coral Champions Club members the best bets on a hectic Saturday with racing from Ascot, Lingfield and a mixed card at Haydock.
NO HASSLE HOFF is a fascinating runner for Dan Skelton in the opener at Haydock on his second run after a wind-op. William Marshall takes off 7lb which leaves the Simon Munir & Isaac Souede owned gelding carrying a featherweight 9st 7lb. He ran to a high level as a novice and reached a mark of 141 after winning a competitive handicap hurdle at Uttoxeter. He races off 132 here, minus Marshall’s 7lb claim which gives him a huge opportunity of getting his head in front for the first time since October 2017. He seems versatile regards ground and he’s fancied to give Skelton another big Saturday winner.

JOHN CONSTABLE has dropped to a very attractive mark of 132 having been rated as 156 this time last year and he makes plenty of appeal for Evan Williams and Adam Wedge. The Dai Walters owned gelding dotted up in this race two years ago off a mark of 134 and has been given a wind op since his last run. He’s only an 8YO and it’s highly likely that this has been his aim for quite some time. If he’s anywhere near the horse he was last year, he must have a huge chance of landing the Swinton for the second time in three years.

CAP FRANCAIS has a whopping 15lbs to find with Anthony Van Dyck on official ratings but the Ed Walker trained colt is sure to progress from his eye-catching seasonal debut and with that run under his belt, he’s worth siding with in Lingfield’s Derby Trial. The Aidan O’Brien trained favourite has standout 2YO form but he was well-beaten in America and doesn’t look sure to get the trip. On the other hand, Cap Francais looks tailor-made for this test and hit the line strong at Epsom last time, despite sweating up pre-race and hanging down the camber.
