Harry Fry on Innocent Girls Market Rasen run

August 9, 2017 News

Coral Champions Club members got to enjoy the delights of Market Rasen on Sunday and witnessed a fine performance as Innocent Girl finished runner up on her return to the larger obstacles after a recent spin over hurdles.

The ultra-consistent mare was continuing her amazing record since joining the Coral Champions Club to make it her 4th 2nd place finish to go alongside with 4 victories and a third from 10 runs.

Trainer Harry Fry was full of praise afterwards when speaking to us;
“I was really pleased with how Innocent Girl ran. The winner was able to get things completely his own way up front but Innocent Girl really pressed him all the way to the line.

She’s just so consistent and has won four races for us and only been out of the first three once. She’s fine this morning and we will look to find a race for her in a couple of weeks where hopefully she can get her head in front again.”

We also got an update on our other horse in his care; Status Quo as he gears up to his first run of the season.

“Status Quo is really well, and coming along nicely. We will be looking to get him back on the track in early October”
