The Club’s beautifully-bred Jeremy gelding, Champions Club, is expected to make his eagerly-awaited hurdling debut next week.
Trainer Tim Vaughan issued a positive bulletin on the 4YO who appears to be thriving at Vaughan’s Pant Wilkin Stables. Champions Club was purchased for a Club record in Ireland last year but has taken some time to fill out his frame. While there’s no doubt he’ll improve markedly for his first run, hopes are high he can be competitive.
“Based on his work at home he looks like a very nice horse. He is fit and ready to run and we can’t wait to get him onto the track and see what he’s capable of. There are a few options in the next 10 days and we will go wherever we can find good ground, as I wouldn’t want to chance him on anything faster” said Vaughan.
Champions Club was put through his paces on Saturday and came through the piece of work with flying colours. Check it out below.
